Guys, I can't believe.It finally worked for me (IE8 on XP 32 bit)after months of frustrating efforts while I was doing what Microsoft were suggesting.You people are amazing!!!Thanks a lot. Something else I tried was going into the Programs and Features control panel and removing IE10 rebooting and then going in and adding it back.
