This is the location of your Favorites folder. I have uninstalled IE8 using the 'Turn Windows Features on or off' section and then re installed it and also used the reset function in the Tools/Advanced section. There you can delete favorites from the Favorites bar > just right click on the favorite in question. But My Computer wouldn't let me delete them.
